Beth Ford

I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia where I scribble away in my free time outside of work. I have been a writer since I was a child. At about 8 years old, I drew a picture of myself opening a mailbox to find out if my book had been accepted or rejected. (Kids today would draw themselves sitting at their computer reading email, I suppose.)

I received a master’s degree in 18th and 19th century British literature from the University of Edinburgh. Scotland will always feel like a second home to me.

I am a proud member of James River Writers and the Historical Novel Society.
